FAREWELL TO MRS. TROUP
A meeting of Wellington women was held yesterday afternoon and an executive was formed to arrange an 'afternoon party for Sirs. Troup on the occasion of the retirement of her husband from the Mayoralty. Mrs. Pow was in the chair ant] Mrs. Austin was appointed hon. secretary. The executive formed was:—Lady Buckleton, Miss McLean, Airs. Elliott, Mrs. O’Shea, Airs. Corkill and Airs. Aieiidbwcroft. It was decided to hold the party on May 11 at Kirkcaldic and Stains tearoom. All those desiring to subscribe are asked to communicate with Airs. Pow or Aire. Austin.
