Poppy Day Arrangements When “Poppy Day” was inaugurated and for some years afterward the artificial poppies sold were imported from London (the factory is actually at Richmond), but it has been found that these can be made just as well in New Zealand. Ph poppies everyone buys for brance” are now made m Christchurch. “Poppv Day” will be observed in the Wellington district on Friday, April 24, the day preceding Anzac Day.
