C. G. Porter Changes Plans
Altering his plans when he arrived in Auckland, C. G. Porter, the ex-All Black captain, decided to visit England before ■ming to Canada, and accordingly cancelled his passage by the Aorangi and booked on the Tainui, which leaves Wellington for England this morning. Porter stated yesterday that though he would still be a keen follower of Rugby, ho had no intention of playing again. He was giving bis attention strictly to business matters and it was solely on this account that he was making the trip (o England. He proposed to spend some time in England and then visit .Canada.
