Annual Meeting There was an attendance of over fifty members last evening at the annual meeting of the Hutt Valley Harriers' Club. The club president, Mr. A. Hadley, presided. The following were elected the officers for the ensuing year:—Patron, Mr. G. Dome; president, Mr. A. Hadley; vicepresidents, same as last year, with the addition of Messrs. Matthews, M. A. Melville, A. A. Nattrass u F. Cotton, P. O’Halloran; secretary and treasurer, Mr. C. King; club captain, Mr. V. Smith; viceclub captain, Mr. L. Paterson: handicapper, Mr. L. Price; starter, Mr. H. Sanders; auditor, Mr. J. MJtchell; delegates to Wellington Centre, Messrs. C. McCarthy and A. Hadley; delegate to trust board. Mr. A. Hadley; judges, Messrs. A. Melville, J. Stapleton, G. Dome, B. Lippltt, A. Hadley; timekeepers, Messrs. C. Goddard and H. Sanders; Press reporter, Mr. J. Goodall; club committee, Messrs. G. Clark, E. Lewis, Mrs. Townsend, Miss Powell, Miss Jones, Mrs. Pilcher, Mrs. Turvey, Miss Rowe; social secretary. Mr. A. Marshall; trainers, Messrs. H. Sanders. F. Sanders, V. Smith, L. Price. A. Patterson, L, Price. . , , Application will be made for permission to change the club colours to tangerine with a diamond monogram. ... ~ The club opening date was fixed at April 18.
