Health Causes Retirement By Telegraph.—Press AssociationHastings, March 19. While training on Monday, evening in preparation for his tight with Thompson at Hastings on Easter Saturday. Artie Hay, holder of the welter, middle and light-heavy professional boxing titles, was taken ill ami had to seek medical aid. . The doctor advised him to retire, and he has accordingly handed in his three title*.
