Need for Careful Search 1 GRIM FINDS AT VERDUN Paris, March 4. It was revealed in the Chamber of Deputies by the Mayor of Verdun that recent work in the neighbourhood had resulted in the discovery of bodies at the rate of eleven a day. The Premier replied that he proposed to ask Parliament for a substantial sum to enable a systematic search of the battlefields and reverent burial of the dead.
