In the Legislative Assembly the Premier’s attention was directed to the death' of a passenger aboard a ship between New Zealand and Sydney recently, which vessel was without a medical officer. Mr. Lang replied that the ship referred to was not registered here, but he would ask the Federal authorities to make representations to the company concerned with a view to ensuring that passengers between here and the Dominion would be safeguarded in the matter of medical attention at sea.
