HAPPY VALLEY ROAD

. Completion of Paving Asked

Support to a request by the Happy Valley Ratepayers’ Association for the bituminising of the road from Ohiro Bay to Brooklyn was accorded by the Wellington Automobile Club last evening. The road has been paved a quarter of the way down Happy Valley Road from Brooklyn and the length to be completed is about two miles. Members of the club were unanimously of the opinion that it was desirable that the work should be completed and a resolution supporting the Ratepayers’ Association in its endeavours was passed.
