■ Dunedin, February 2. One of the numerous troubles afflicting Otago farmers this season is the appearance in wheat of “take all,” a fungoid disease that attacks the base of the plants depriving them of sap. A field .of eighty acres in the Ranfurly district is so badly affected as to reduce the estimated yield by 50 per cent.
