Motions of Condolence The following resolution was carried at a meeting last evening of the council of the Wellington Chamber of Commerce :—“This chamber records its very deep regret at the loss sustained by the death of the Hon. T. Shailer Weston, who was engaged in commercial life in Wellington, and was a member of this chamber.” Prior to the business of the Conciliation Council being taken yesterday morning, reference was made to the late Hon. T. Shailer Weston, who had been president of the New Zealand Employers Federation for a very long period. Regret was expressed at the great loss sustained by the Employers’ Association in particular. mid at the passing away of a gentleman whose services to the Donnnion were of great value. A resolution of condolence with the family of the deceased gentleman and the federation was carried.
