YOUNG TRAVELLERS

Party Back from Australia

By Telegraph—Press Association.

Auckland, January 27.

Greatly impressed with the educational value of their experiences, five youthful New Zealand members of the Young Australia League who participated in the recent tour of the Commonwealth conducted by that organisation, returned to Auckland by the Dlarama. The members of the party, who are secondary school boys, are Stuart Babbage, Arras Johnson and Collin Bellam, of Auckland Grammar School, Sydney Boniface, of Palmerston North, and John Paape, of Dunedin.

The boys left Auckland by the Dlaunganui on December 27 and arrived in Sydney on December 31, joining 770 members of the Young Australia League. The party toured Australia, visiting Sydney, the Blue Mountains, Melbourne, Canberra, Geelong and Ballarat. More than passing glimpses of the industrial activity of the Commonwealth was afforded the New Zealanders, many visits being made to factories and other such places of interest.
