Blackball Mine Idle

By Telegraph—Press Association. Greymouth, January 27. Blackball Mine, the employees of which were dismissed last week as a prelude to the working of only a single shift, remains idle owing, to the miners not seeking re-engagement until the company agrees' to all members of the union sharing in the available work. On the other hand, Dobson Mine, which also is going ou to a single shift, probably will continue working without any interruption in view of an agreement being proposed between the parties, which will permit of all the employees sharing in the work.
