TENNIS CLUB PICNIC

The first annual picnic of the Hinemoa Tennis Club was held at Maoribank on Sunday* The weather was all that could be desired and a happy day was spent by members and friends. A special bus was chartered and all indulged in sports, games and swimming. , The result of the sports was as follows: —100 yards, women. Miss K. Bartosh ; 100 Yards, men, Mr. C. Burrell; cigarette race, Mr. D. McLeod; slow race, women. Mrs. A. Fraser; threelegged race, Mr. and Mrs. Fraser; wheel race, Mr. Todd and Miss Bartley; children's race, Betty Bartley.
