About the Province

The Dannevirke Chamber of Commerce is drawing the attention of the Post-master-General, through the member for the district, Hon. E. A. Ransom, to the fact that there is only ai tri-weekly mail service from Pongaroa to Dannevirke, whereas there is a daily service from longaroa to Pahiatua. A request is being made that arrangements be made to have a daily service by car with Dannevirke.
