DAYLIGHT ROBBER

“Master Mind” Caught HOLLYWOOD’S LOSSES Goods Worth £200,000 By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Rcc. December 10, 11.30 p.m.) New York, December 10. Al White became known at Hollywood last year as a wealthy importer, who acted for the fun of it. To-day he is under arrest as Roxen Sanders, the Master-mind in a daylight robbery partnership. The police recovered £50,000 worth of jewels, Oriental rugs, and furniture, which were boldly taken from the homes of wealthy Hollywood people. A chamois leather bag containing £5OOO worth of loose diamonds was found strapped to Sander's knee. The police assert that he took £200,000 worth of goods and resold them to the cinema colony. The robberies were conducted in broad daylight by a gang who drove to selected houses in the garb of draymen.
