GIRL GUIDE ACTIVITIES

A jolly time was spent at Mount Bruce on Saturday by the 4th Masterton lararua Company of Girl Guides, ■who celebrated their third anniversary by. holding an all-day picnic. In the afternoon the Guides went for a tramp to L>onnelly’s Camp, where an enrolment took place in the open air. Three recruits were invested, service stars presented, and the Robin Patrol was announced winner of the Allan Rose Bowl. Forest Lakes, Otaki, will be the scene of a camp for the Masterton Girl Guides in conjunction with some Wellington Guides, during the second week in January. This year the Smith trophy was awarded to the Kereru Patrol of the oth Masterton Company.
