TE AROHA ATTRACTIONS

Te Arolia celebrated its fiftieth anniversary on November 25. To mark the event the Borough Council has published a very complete history of the borough and its surrounding district, the various activities being described by writers with the necessary local knowledge. Special articles are included—botanical notes by Miss M. W. Crookes, fauna of the Thames Valley by R. A. Falla, and geology by Professor J. A. Barti'um. The book, which has many illustrations. was printed by the Te Aroha News Company.
