On November 27 the German Cabinet dispatched a 25-page protest to the League of Nations against the terrorism of Germans in Polish Silesia, especially at the week-end elections, when many were maltreated. „ . The Foreign Affairs Committee of the Reichstag has rejected a Nationalist motion advocating the raising of an army of 100.000 unemployed to protect Germany against Poland;, also urging Germany’s withdrawal 'rom the League of Nations, but has agreed to a demand for the recall of German representatives from the Preparatory Disarmament Conference because the other Powers were not fulfilling their obligatidns. . The Kapp “Putsch" took place m 1920, and was one of several counter-revolution-ary movements of the disturbed period through which Germany passed at that time. In March of that year the Kapps “Putsch” caused the disruption of the Ebert Government, which fled from Berlin. Dr. Kapp assumed\ the office of Imperial Chancellor, but failed to form a Government. The revolution then ended.
