WEDDING AT HUTT
McGuchan—Adamson On Saturday pftertloon, at the Congre. gational Church, Lower Hutt, Hannah Kerr, daughter of Mr. and'Mrs. C. Adamson, was married .to Robert Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs. P. N. McGuchan. The bride was escorted 'by her father,' and wore a . frock of white crepe charmaine. the bodice of which' was p'rettily ruched. The sleeves were long.'and the ’skirt anklelength. The; usual veil and orange blos.soms were worn, the veil being arranged In a cap, and the orange blossom worn in buiiehes pt the side. Her bouquet, was of white roses Und street peas, and ' maidenhair fetn. The bridesmaid. Miss Jean Kerr, Wellington; wore coral pink crepe M chine, with pleated skirt and bolero, with drooping hat of pink, crinoline to tone. Her. shoes, were of fawn and pink crepe de chine, with fawn silk stockand she carried , a bouquet of pink roses and sweet peas. Mr. Hugh Thomson, Wellington, cousin of the bridegroom, attended :as best man, the Rev. R. ,T. H. Wearne was the officiating minister, and Miss Stowers, wap Mhe organist. •' Mr. and Mrs. Adamson afterwards held a reception at the Orange Hall, Petone, where 50 guests were entertained. The hall had been gaily .decorated by a friend of the bride. Mrs.,' Adamson’s. frock was of chocolate tricoline. trimmed with fawn, crepe de Chine, with Bangkok hat in a similar shade, and edged with tulle. When the bride and bridegroom left for the honeymoon, the former wore a navy blue flecked costume, with navy Bangkok hat, black suede shoes, and grey silk stockings.
