Cricketers Injured TWO IN HOSPITAL Dominion Special Service. Palmerston North, December 1. When returning from Masterton in the early hours of Sunday morning a car driven by J. Pegden, of Palmerston North, and containing three members of the Manawatu cricket eleven —N. Gallichan, B. Broughton, and L. Fletcher—capsized near Whakarongo. Mr. Pegden received a cut on the neck, while Mr. Fletcher suffered injuries to the thigh and abrasions to the head. Both were admitted to the Palmerston North Hospital. and are reported to be progressing satisfactorily. The other two passengers escaped lightly with bruises and shock. They were asleep at the time of the accident.
