Lower Hutt Committee The unemployment committee scheme instituted by Mr. Walter Nash, M.P., in the Hutt Valley, provides for representatives of the several local bodies, and persons appointed to other organisations competent to assist in the work of dealing with unemployed relief. At last night’s meeting of the Lower Hutt Borough Council the Lower Hutt representation was decided upon as follows:—Mr. C. B. Robertson, the borough’s representative on the Hospital Board; Mr. A. B. Thomson, an ex-mngis-trate, retired: and Councillor J. Mitchell, representing the Lower Hutt Borough Council.
