A twelve-year-old girl, Iris Bullivant, living at 39a Cambridge Terrace, fell through a skylight and dropped about 12 feet about 7 p.m. yesterday. She received concussion, and incised wounds on the neck, head and arms. She was taken to the hospital by the Free Ambulance.

The clash with which a taxi-cab going along Victoria Street and a five-seater touring car going along Mercer Street collided about 8.20 last evening caused pedestrians on the sidewalks to jump, but little damage was done, and both machines were able to proceed on their way at a more sedate pace.

Twenty Wellington secondary school boys will attend the summer camp of the Toe H. schools section at Resolution Bay, Queen Charlotte Sound, from January 1 to January 15. About 10 Toe H members will accompany the boys, and if finance is available, 20 orphans will be added to the party.

Parents’ day was held at the Lyall Bay' school yesterday. A large number of parents visited the school, and had an opportunity of seeing how their children were taught, and the surroundings in which they worked. The children gave physical culture exhibitions and samples of the work of almost every pupil were on view. The arrangements were- supervised by the headmaster, Mr. O. H. Banner, aiid the infant mistress, Miss F. Roberts.
