The Canadian National steamer Canadian Highlander left Wellington at noon yesterday for Lyttelton. Timaru, Dunedin and Bluff to complete discharge of her Montreal cargo and for further loading. She Is due back at Wellington on October 26 nnd will leave here on October 28 for Auckland to fill up. She is scheduled to clear Auckland finally on October 31 for New York, Boston and Halifax, via the Panama Canal.

HERTFORD’S MOVEMENTS. The Federal Company advise that the Hertford Is to leave Dunedin to-day for New Plymouth to complete discharge of her Liverpool cargo. She will then commence her homeward loading at the Taranaki port to the agency of the New Zealand Shipping Company. Iho Hertford will subsequently complete at Wanganui, Wellington. Napier, Gisborne and Auckland She is due here on November 10. and is scheduled to sail finally from Auckland nn November 23 for London, via the Panama Canal.
