By-law and Civil Cases Tuesday's sitting of the Lower Hutt Magistrate’s Court was presided over by Messrs. G. A. Chapman and F. Feist, J.P.’s, when by-law and civil cases were dealt with. By-Law Coses. For riding a bicycle at night without ! lights, Clifford Hoare was fined 10/- ami costs 15/-. M. Magnus, for driving a motor-car on the main road at a greater speed than, 25 miles an hour, was fined £2 and costs 15/-. Kidijjg a bicycle In High Street without a'light cost Fred Hayes 10/- and costs 17/-. A. Wilson, for riding a bicycle on the bitumen track road in High Street, was fined 10/- and costs 17/-. C. Brice, for riding a bicyclo in High Street without a light, was lined 10/- and costs 17/-. Riding his bicycle on the bitumen track in High Street cost W. 11. Barker court costs 12/-. For riding a bicycle in High Street without a light, F. K. Craven was fined 10/and costs 16/-. For riding a bicycle on the Cuba Street ramp without u light Clement Green was lined 10/- and costs 15/-. Robert Asken, for riding a bicycle on the Main Road, Lower Hutt, without a light, was fined .10/- and costs 17/-. Riding a bicycle in Connolly Street without a light cost Vincent Searlo 15/- and costs 16/-. Robert 8. Muirhead, for riding a bicyclo on the main road without a light, was fined 10/- and costs 17/-. Peter Poli was fined 10/- and costs 16/for riding a bicycle on the main road without a light. For riding a bicycle on the bitumen
road track on the main street., Patrick Rea was ordered to pay court costs 10/-. For riding at night without a light be was fined 5/- and costs 15/-. Peter M. Moran, who rode a bicycle In Knight’s Road without a light, was lined 10/- and costs 16/-. Reginald Baker, who rode a motor-cycle on the main road at a speed of 48 miles an hour, was fined £4 and costs 15/-. W. Hart, who rode a bicycle on the old bridge without a light, was fined 15/- and costs 15/-. F. L.' Laurenson, who obstructed the traffic inspector by parking his car in the prohibited area in Fraser Street when warned not to do so, was fined 80/- and costs 15/-. Vivian George Cottle, for driving a motor truck in the main street at a greater speed than 20 miles an hour, was fined £1 and costs 17/-. .. .
