FATAL SKID
Inquest on Reuben Benbrook Dominion Special Service. Wanganui, July 24: An inquest was opened at the Wanganui Hospital this morning, before Mr. J. J. Pilkington, coroner, concerning the death of Reuben Allen Benbrook. When evidence of identification had been taken the inquest was adjourned sine die. Benbrook was killed on the WellingtonNew Plymouth main highway near Kai Iwi yesterday afternoon, when the car he was driving skidded and overturned. Miss Freda Buckingham, of Hawera, and Max Nelson. Wanganui, were passengers in tlie car. Both were unhurt. The deceased was for about four years employed by Messrs. McGruer’s, Wanganui, Ltd., but two months ago lie was transferred to the Hawera branch. He tools a keen interest in sport, being a member of the Union Bont Club. Wanganui, and the Old Boys’ Football Club, and Castlecliff Surf Club.
