TRADE REVIVAL

Approach Prophesied

OPTIMISTIC OUTLOOK

Shipping Magnate’s Belief

(Rec. July 24, 5.5 p.m.) British Wireless. Rugby, July 23. Sir Frederick Lewis, chairman of Furness, Withy and Co., the great shipping firm, at to-day's meeting of that company, prophesied the approach of a trade revival. He said: “My optimistic outlook is justified by the belief that the existing conditions are part of the stage setting for a trade revival, which will come as surely as anything which it is possible to predict.”
