The snow te made up of maar. "■W! crystals all turned different ways. fll we took these crystals apart and toete’ ed at any or all of them separately we could see through them. light would go through them much M It dess through glass.
But when all these pretty srytestt are piled together in all kinds « ways the light no longer can pen right through them. They throw the Mgfct back in every direction. Instead of keeping any of the white light wN«a falls on them, the snowflakes send It all bad: to us. and that to why vrt say the snow is white.
