ARRANGING FIXTURES
Tho management committee of the ellingtou Football Association met last night, when there were present Messrs. W. B. Hicks (eh. irmnn), G. Acts, 1 . Mackie. J. M. Coleman. R. G- Wen, 11. Power, L. Mellor, W. Fraser, 11. Spolsky, J. Kean. B. Neale, and the secretary (B. A. Mabin). Transfers. The following transfers were granted • C. Stanbridge from Waterside to Hospital; J. M. Laracy from, *ftone to Murist; K. Fudge from'Thistle to Waterside; R. Knox from Thistle to Petone; W. Barclay from Thistle to Petone. F.A. Trophy. . .. It was decided to write the New Zealand council drawing attention „to the urgency of fixing a date for the IJ-A. challenge match Auckland w. Welling-ton,-owing to the difficulty in arranging the local fixtures'. ; Tho chairman said it might be necessary to take three or four players from one club, and the fixtures would have to be arranged so that the-players could be released,. • Chatham Cup. i . Mr. .1. M. Coleman suggested that, the clubs in the Chatham Cup be written to asking them to again agree that.their, ■share of-the gates in the - preliminary rounds be pooled toward paying the expenses of ' tho team ' winning ■ the local ■round When it goes to Auckland.:-. ■ The suggestion' •was .adopted.
