ABOUT £240 RAISED The following receipts from Rugby grounds last Saturday (Charity Saturday) were reported to last evening s meeting of the Wellington Rugby Union: — Athletic Park. £146/10/-; Newtown Park. £4l/5/-; Petone, £2B/5/-; Hutt, £l7/9/- (apart from the sale of tickets, amounting to £6O) ; Eastbourne, £3 7/-; Johnsonville, £S/10/. The proceeds. therefore, amount to roughly £240. The £6O realised from sale of tickets at Hutt is to be devoted to a player hurt in a match that took place about IS months ago.
