WANGANUI RACES Wanganui, May 15. The Wanganui Jockey Club was favoured with perfect weather for its opening day of the winter meeting today. Although the day was spring-like, the dressing was very sombre, black and brown predominating. Costumes and tweed and cloth coats were very popular, while many woollen jumper suits were worn under warm coats. Among those present were the following: Mrs. D. Campbell, brown costume.
