RONGOTEA NOTES

Itongoten. April 11. A meeting of members of the Women’s | Division of tlie Farmers' Union was held in the Rongotca Town Hall on Wednesday last, to consider forming a local branch. Mrs. W Carson, of Palmerston North, gave an Interesting address upon the aims and objects of the division. It was decided that, as most of those present were members of the Women’s Institute, it would be advisable for any prospective members to become members of the Palmerston North branch, and many present signified their Intention of Joining. The meeting closed with a hearty vote i of thanks to the visiting ladles.
