I’mMeu Taylor, of the City Mission, have to bear the brunt of the real distress that at the present time is very Wellington. I have known Mr. Taylor for several years and know something of the great work he is doing, and would ask through the medium of your paper those who can afford to do so to respond to his appeal for funds to enable him to assist our less fortunate brethren. 1 am ’ etC s TEPH EN T. P. DOIDGE. Wellington, April 6.
