INTOXICATED DRIVER’S STORY. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Hamilton, January 31. John Adkins, a cook at Horahora, was fined £2O and disqualified for driving for a year on a charge of being drunk while in charge of a car in Main Street, Hamilton, on January 25. The accused was found cranking a car, and said that he was not in charge of the car, and that a young lady passenger was driving. The gtory was not believed by the Magistrate.
