STATE PARLIAMENTS
LABOUR DEMANDS ABOLITION Sydney, January 25. Resolutions advocating the abolition of State Parliaments and the transfer of major powers to the Commonwealth were carried at the County Provincial Conference of the Australian Labour Party at Tamworth. Mr. J. T. Lang, Leader of the Opposition, insisted that the Federal Government must give effect to the full platform of the party, including the abolition of the Senate.
