WEDDING.
A wedding was celebrated at St. Lawrence’s Church, Aramoho, on January 22, when Florence, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. Bromiley, Aramoho, was married to Keith Hansen, third son of Mr and Mrs. F. H. Allen, Ramahiku, Wanganui River. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. J. B. Blackburne and the organist was Miss D. Dowsett. The church was decorated with pink and white hydrangeas by friends of the bride. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her father, wore a picture gown, the sleeveless bodice of white crepe satin and the ankle-length skirt oemposed Of rows of white silk lace over mariettc. Her embroidered veil, which formed ft train, was arranged very simply and worn with a wreath.of tiny orange blossoms and jpendants of the blossoms over each ear. A bouquet of pink and white roses with ribbon streamers completed the ensemble. The three bridesmaids, Miss Jo Robertson (Wanganui), Miss Ream Berry (Hunterville), and Miss Nancie Allen (Ramahiku), sister of the bridegroom, were dressed alike in quaint frocks of pink floral ninon and hats of champagne crinoline trimmed with pinksatin ribbon. They carried bouquets of pink and white carnations. The bridegroom’s cousin, Mr. C. Beach, acted as test man. After the ceremony a reception was held at the Elrick Tea Lounge, where a large number of guests were entertained. The bride’s mother received her guests wearing a model frock of black mariette and silk lace with black Bangkok hat trimmed with beige, and carried a bouqubt of autumn tinted flowers. The bridegroom’s mother w-ore a brown silk frock and black silk coat with hut to tone, and carried a bouquet of roses. When Mr. and Mrs. Allen left later by motor for Marton en route to Auckland and Kawau /Island ' the latter wore a French model frock of grey crepe romanette and long coat cn suite, with grey moufflon fur collar and cuffs and a grey Bangkok hat. The bride’s present to the bridegroom was a gold wrist watch, and the bridegroom’s present to the bride was a stone marten fur necklet. Amongst the guests were Mrs. G.
