The route o£ the line between Muriwai and Gisborne has yet to be settled, and bridges constructed before the track will be laid. , The rails are of the heavy 701 b. type, which conform to the main line standard. In audition, 14,000 sleepers have been ordered and are expected to arrive shortly, borne sleepers and rails are also expected to arrive shortly at Waikokopu, and there will be sufficient sleepers on hand for laying bn any formation done during The next two years. v ■ '
