THEFT FROM CELL
THEATRE TAKINGS LEFT AT POLICE STATION (Rec. December 27, 9.55 p.m.) Melbourne, ( December 27. Several hundreds of pounds, the takings at a local theatre, were left at Prahran polljje station for safety owing to the banks being closed. The money was placed in an empty cell This morning the cell was found still locked, but the money had gone.
