UNIVERSITY EXAMINATIONS
Sir, —Judging by the paper Plane Trigonometry, Engineering Preliminary Examination, it would appear that the university authorities have no desire that even worthwhile young men should begin their course for the 8.E., Canterbury College. The object of the paper seems to be to harass men whose tutors would unhesitatingly recommend for entrance to the university.—l am, etc., GRADUATE. Wellington, December 11,
