RUSSIAN’S CLAIM
PROFESSES TO BE TSAREVITCH * ESCAPEE FROM SIBERIA (Rec. December 20, 7 p.m.) Bagdad, December 19. A young Russian, who claims to' lie the only son of the murdered Tsar, and who escaped from Siberia, where he was Imprisoned for years, was arrested for having no passport, but was released after a week’s detention here, the police confessing that they were unable to confirm or disprove the story. The Tsarevitch, if alive, would be 25 years of age. The fugitive looks not more than twenty, but his resemblance to the Russian Royalties is said to be remarkable.
