BODIES IN SCRUB
TRAGEDY AT SYDNEY Sydney, December 20. What appears to be a case of murder aud suicide was discovered in ..the Punchbowl Suburb. Two bodies, believed to be those of Wallace Ducie, 32, and Jessie Smith, 20, were found in the scrub. A week’s exposure to the weather and the ravages of ants had made the bodies almost unrecognisable. The theory of double murder is not dispensed with. Both victims were shot through the temple. (Rec. December 20, 11 p.m.) Sydney, December 20. The victims of the shooting tragedy at Punchbowl are Wallace Ducie, aged 25, and Jessie Smithson, aged 20. Both have been missing since last Friday. Ducie was wanted by the police for wife desertion.
