PETONE CARNIVAL
The Petone carnival will open on Boxing Day, ami the committee announces that tb'ev have secured the best att ructions possible to procure. Staig’s enterprises will be running their merry-go-round, and Atlantic fliers, and also a large mechanical ocean wave will be there. The sideshows are both novel and attractive, and include the rabbit, duck, bonza dog. ball checker, hoop la. box ball, and the up-to-date new bat games. The committee have also secured Captain McFarlane s performing dogs and monkeys, and numerous other attractions. One may thus visit one of New Zealand s best and safest beaches mid enjoy , the swimming and also support the carnival.
