KILBIRNIE SCHOOL
BKEAKING-UP CONCERT. The Kilbirnie School held its annual breaking-up concert on Tuesday night iii the Kilbirnie Hall. There was a very large attendance or parents and friends of the pupils. A one-act play, “The Slippers of Cinderella,” bv some of the senior pupils, reflected great credit on those responsible for its production, and the players’ efforts were warmly applauded. The playlet occupied the latter half of the evening, and the items prior to the interval were: Babies’ Dance. Primer 1; Swedish I* oik Dance. Primer 2: Sir Roger de Coverley, Primer 3: Action Song, "McNamaras Band” Primer 4: Dramatised Song. "Raggle. Taggle. Gypsies, Oil.” Standard “• song. “Santa Claus Has Come to Town. Standard IB; English Country Dances. “.TOhny Pluck Pears” and "Goddesses, seniors: action song in costume, “The Toymakers’ Dream.” Standards 3A and 4B: drill squad. Standard fl: Maori songs “Pokare Karo” anil “Hacre Ra. Standard 5A • action song in costume; “The Wedding of tlie Painted Doll."
