Thorndon (challengers). Junior.—lsland Bay v. Brougham Hill. Intermediate. —Seatoun v. Kiiandallah ; St. Peters v. University. Fourth Grade.—Wadestown v. Marauui; Victoria v. Onepu; Rawhiti v. University; Rongotai v. Talavera; Puru v. Island Bay. THIRD GRADE POSITIONS. The following are the positions of the various clubs in the third grade interclub competitions:—Kiiandallah, 2 wins, 30 matches; Brougham Hill. 2 wins, 22 matches; Seatoun, 2 wins, 18 matches; Island Bay, 1 win, 21 matches; Newtown, 1 win 14 matches; Miramar Grounds, 1 win. 13 matches; Rongotai, 1 win by default, 8 matches; Talavera, no wins, 10 matches; Lyall Bay, no wins, 7 matches; Wadestown, no wins, 1 match. AUSTRALIA CHALLENGING FOR DAVIS CUP
Melbourne. November 27. The Australian Lawn Tennis Association has decided that a team will compete for the Davis Cup in 1930, prob ably in the European zone.
