SAFE WRECKED

BURGLARS VISIT RAILWAY STATION. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Waiptikurau, November 22. Late last night or early this morning the railway station was burglariously entered by forcing a window from the platform, and explosives were used with success to open a large safe. The inner casing was blown into a tangled mass. A luggage sack was used to deaden the sound. Two cash boxes are missing, containing cheques and notes to a substantial amount and several pounds in cash.
