SWIMMING

WORSER BAY CLUB. The opening of the 1929-30 season of the Worser Bay Swimming Club will be held to-day at 2.30 p.m. Mr. R. Semple, M.P., the club's patron, will declare, the season open, after which he will inspect teams from Worser Bay, Lyall Bay, Marauui and Island Bay Life-saving Clubs. There will be swimming races and lifesaving displays; Afternoon tea will be provided to visitors. A dance will be held in the-evening at the Seatoun Bowling Club's pavilion.
