SWIMMING
Carterton, November 15. The following officers were elected at the annual meeting of the Carterton Amateur Swimming Club: Patron, Mr. .T. Udy; president, Mr. W. Howard Booth; club captain, Mr. L. Fairbrother; vicepresidents, Messrs. XV. Sorenson, 11. H. Ward, F. 15. Tyler. C. A. Gray, and J. A. B. Laurence; secretary and treasurer, Mr. G B. Ward: assistant secretary, Mr. J. W. Denby. Tt was reported that the Australian swimmers, Grier and Ryan, who were to tour New Zealand, would appear at Carterton in January.
