Masterton. November 15. At their weekly Carterton sale yesterday the Wairarapa Farmers’ Co-operative -Association. Ltd., offered a good yarding of cattle and pigs to the usual attendance. There was good competition for stock of all classes, and a total clearance was made as follows:—Fat eows. £8 to £9 2s. Gd.; forward cows. £5 10s., to £7: cows with calves, £7 to £8; 2 and 3-year steers, £8 55.; good yearling steers, £G 35.; yearling dairy heifers, £5 to £6 10s.; dairy-bred bulls, £5 10s. to £9; small yearling bulls, £4; good baconcr pigs, £3 and £3 35.: ■ good porkers, 3Cs.
