HUTT VALLEY ROSE SHOW

Record entries are expected for the Hutt Valley Rose Show, for which they close next Tuesday at noon. Sir Alexander Roberts', Mayor of Lower Hutt, will oflicially open the exhibition at 3 pan. on Wednesday. Other special items are sweet peas, carnations, and cut flowers, and the various classes in the decorative section. Besides the decorated table there is a special trophy donated for the most original table (decorated). There are three meccano competitions for boys, which should produce some fine exhibits by ingenious lads. The llutt Scenic Reserves will have a fine display of flowers. Ladins’ committees arc iii charge of the flower stull, sweets and refreshments.
