PROGRESS RESULTS Australian Press Association. Sydney, October 3. A Ceduna message states that sixteen aeroplanes in the air race have arrived, but Leggatt in the Curtis Meteor has withdrawn owing to engine trouble. The pilot Penny met with a mishap on the first stage to Kimba, coming down in the desert. He managed, however, to reach Kimba. Following are the fastest actual flying times from Sydney to Ceduna, 1250 miles:— Miller (DH9) 1211. 33min. De Havilland (Moth) .. 12hr. 44min. Heath (DHSO) 13hr. 7min. Pratt (Moth) 13hr. 50min.
