The following resolution has been forwarded to the Prime Minister by the Social Problems Committee, representing Churches of Christ in New Zealand: — “Believing that an extension of gaming facilities would be detrimental to the best interests of the community, this committee, representative of Churches of Christ in New Zealand, hereby places on record its opposition to the proposed Gaming Bill to be placed before Parliament this session, nnd strongly urges Parliament to reject file passing into law of this barm ful measura,”
